Are there witness or notary requirements for the FWAB or the FPCA?
 


Witnessing Requirements:     No State has witness requirements for the Federal Post Card Application (FPCA).  A witness may be required however if a voter receives assistance when completing the form.

No State has notrary requirements for either the FWAB or the FPCA.

For the Federal Write-in Absentee Ballot (FWAB) the following States/Territories have witnessing requirements:

Alabama (2 witnesses) Alaska (1 witness) Virginia (1 witness) Wisconsin (1 witness).  Any witness must sign in the witness section of the Voter's Declaration Section as instructed on the FWAB.
