When will my ballot arrive? / I sent in my form and haven't heard anything yet – what should I do?

Overseas Ballots are available to send to overseas voters who have sent in their form as of  45 days prior to the election - it’s a good idea to check on the status of your ballot if it has not appeared yet!

One way to check is by going to the State Voting Requirements page on our website. Once there, input your state, click the tab labeled “State Lookup Tools – Am I Registered? Where’s My Ballot?”,  and then click the link next to “Where is my Ballot”. 

If the above suggestion does not give you an affirmative answer, please call your election office to check on the status of your ballot. You can find your local election office’s contact information by going to the Election Official Directory, inputting your state and region, and clicking on the “Election Official Contact Details” tab. 

If you are ultimately unable to obtain your ballot, please fill out the form for the Federal Write-in Absentee Ballot (FWAB) which is available here on our website. 

Note: If you send in a FWAB, and then receive your regular ballot from your election office, you should still complete the ballot and send it in. This is an allowable practice and does not equal voting twice. Always return your ballot – (even if it is unmarked and enclosed with a note as to why!)
